About the Artist:

Ben Heim is an Australian audiovisual artist and composer currently based in New York City. His work spans contemporary classical music, film scoring, video art, crypto art, live immersive experiences, audiovisual installations + performances, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. 

Heim’s artwork is generative. He works by creating complex evolving visual systems based on rule sets that control the colour, composition, motion, and behaviour of his works. These works are then randomised every time they load, creating new variations of the artwork each time they are viewed, rendered, or run. Heim’s works are very meditative, each work, by it’s endlessly evolving nature and slow pacing, represents a meditation on a particular visual idea, or more specifically a meditation on the variation that a specific idea can produce.
